Comparing Factor to Other Top Brands

Here’s a look at how Factor stacks up against two other leading meal delivery services like it.

Green Chef vs. Factor

Like Factor, Green Chef is a meal delivery service designed to make healthy eating easy—and delicious. But there are a few key differences between the two companies:

  • Whereas Factor sends prepared meals to consumers’ homes, Green Chef sends pre-measured ingredients and recipes—so you’ll be doing all the cooking and cleaning.
  • Green Chef’s meals are available for more than one person (two, four or six); Factor offers single serving meals.
  • With Factor, you can choose to have up to 18 meals per week delivered to your door; Green Chef only offers up to four meals per week.
  • Both companies are committed to using premium, whole ingredients, but only GreenChef prioritizes organic options.
  • Factor offers every customer a complimentary coaching session with a dietitian; at the time of this review, Green Chef does not offer that level of support.

FlexPro Meals vs. Factor

FlexPro Meals is similar to Factor in that it is a meal delivery service that helps make healthy eating easy by sending pre-portioned, chef-prepared meals directly to consumers’ doors. Both companies offer options for a wide variety of dietary preference, including keto and high protein, and the prices are pretty comparable. However, there are some key differences:

  • Factor meals are delivered fresh and are never frozen; FlexPro meals are flash frozen after they are prepared and can be stored in the fridge or freezer.
  • Factor offers options for vegans and vegetarians and FlexPro does not. Alternatively, FlexPro offers gluten-free options and Factor does not.
  • Factor offers one standard serving meal size; FlexPro Meals offers regular or large meals, which vary in their calorie ranges.
  • Factor offers plans with six, eight, 10, 12, 14 or 18 meals per box; FlexPro Meals offers seven, 10, 15, 18 or 21 meals per box.
  • Factor offers extras like breakfasts, snacks and smoothies that can be added to your order; FlexPro Meals offers meal prep kits along with high protein treat packs.
  • Factor offers a free consultation with a dietitian; at the time of this review, FlexPro Meals does not offer that level of support.
